We are an Evangelical Christian fellowship welcoming all.

In 1977 the Christian Head Teacher of Lostock Hall Primary School was approached by two Poynton ladies who believed the Lord wanted them to start a Church on The Bird Estate.  Permission was obtained to hold worship meetings in the School on Sundays in 1978 and these have continued for over 40 years.

The Church has never had a full time Pastor so a decision was taken to call on a small circle of local preachers to assist the Elders in the Sunday preaching.  We have a congregation composed of people drawn from a variety of different denominations.

The Church is a registered charity (number 516575) and a member of The Evangelical Alliance.
